Overview

You just finished running a transformation in your project, and you want to share your data (and maybe transform_params) with someone else. Here’s how you can do it.

First, head over to your transformation on the Trellis dashboard.

Next, click on the “Template” button on the top-right of the screen. This will take you to the Template page for your transformation.

Enter a name for your template, and describe it to keep others in the loop. Now, you have 3 sharing options:

  • Public - We will approve your template, and it will be featured for all Trellis customers to see on our Templates Marketplace.

  • Private - Your template will only be accessible by other members of your organization. They will be able to find your templates on the Projects page.

  • Unlisted - We won’t share your template, but we’ll generate a template link to make sharing templates across organizations easier.

For this example, lets select Unlisted.

Go ahead and create your template! You’ll notice that we’ve generated a share link for you.

Now, you can share your templates with any other Trellis customer!
